These innovative Awareness Through Movement lessons were designed specifically for people with TMJ Syndrome and problems of the mouth and jaw. They systematically address and improve every aspect of mouth and jaw functioning and have been used in physical therapy and dental clinics throughout the U.S. Often symptoms can disappear within days of beginning the exercises and in most cases it will eliminate the need for further measures. However if additional medical intervention is needed, this series can help you to enahance awareness and create new movement patterns that will increase the chances of treatment success.
What are the signs and symptoms?

radiating pain in the face, jaw, or neck,
jaw muscle stiffness,
limited movement or locking of the jaw,
painful clicking, popping or grating in the jaw joint when opening or closing the mouth,
a change in the way the upper and lower teeth fit together.
